Unlike soft wheel brushes used for delicate alloy rims, the tyre brush is built for the tough rubber sidewalls of the tire. It features an ergonomic handle and short, stiff synthetic bristles. These stiff bristles are necessary to scrub away “blooming” (the brown residue on tires) and caked-on mud that softer brushes can’t remove. Using this brush with a good degreaser is the key to getting tires perfectly black and ready for tire dressing, helping the dressing bond better.
